How do Greenford Town Team work together

The Greenford Town Team met to decide how they wanted to work together. They established a set of ways of working that shape how they work

  • Transparently – Communicate openly and honestly and encourage feedback
  • Collaboratively – Ensure everyone feels welcome and encourage teamwork
  • Respect each other – Listen actively and value each member’s input and perspective
  • Be accountable – Follow through on commitments
  • Sustainably – Assess the teams work in regards to how it supports Greenford’s community
  • Resolve conflicts amicably – Seek to understand different viewpoints

Being a Town Team member is a voluntary role, and each member must sign up to a participation agreement.

Greenford’s Town Team’s vision for change

Greenford Town Team envisions a town where everyone feels truly at home. We aspire to be a community where neighbours support one another, take pride in caring for our shared spaces, and collaborate to ensure Greenford is safe, welcoming, and flourishing. Here, every person is valued, and together we shape a town we are proud to call our own.

Greenford's Town Priority and Community Fund

Through a big engagement process in 2024 and 2025, local residents, businesses, faith and community organisation shared their insights about the brilliant things already happening in Greenford and their ideas to make things even better.  Through this process people voted making Greenford a ‘clean and pleasant area’ the top priority. Through this process local people shared what ‘clean and pleasant’ meant to them.

Over the last 6 months, Greenford’s Town Team, has taken the insights from this process, and created a local community fund to support great ideas big or small to respond to this priority.

The Greenford Town Team wanted to set a clear goal for change, with the aim of bringing people together from all ages and backgrounds, to celebrate Greenford’s diversity, and to highlight the many talents found in the town.

They want all projects funded to contribute to this vision for change.

Greenford has up to £60,000 to fund great ideas. Applications for the community fund are now open and close on  31 December 2025.
