Hands on Art

Ongoing Project

“Hands on Art” is a series of 8 custom designed art workshops which will guide you through diverse art techniques and mediums, encouraging experimentation and personal growth. It’s specifically designed and developed for the young neurodivergent people who are struggling with social isolation and anxiety.

It’s been proven that any type of art can enhance our mental health as it lowers stress levels, promotes social relationships and happiness and aids in self discovery. Art supports mental health by providing a non-verbal outlet to process complex emotions.

How you can help

We are reaching out to people that care about inclusivity and mental health and like to get involved in our program, hopefully becoming one of the directors of our Community Interest Company. It would be ideal to find other neurodivergent people to work on this with us as one of our priorities is a lived in experience. We need help with fundraising.  Collaborators with experience in grant writing, or community outreach would be especially helpful. Together, we can build a program that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.
