Acting Safe in Perivale

Tie-Dye Drama is a London-based arts organisation dedicated to using drama as a creative and inclusive tool to engage and uplift communities. Our work centres on helping young people build confidence, support their wellbeing, and explore their creativity.

We are pleased to be working with Selborne Primary School on this project as part of the Safer Ealing initiative.

Through this programme, we will deliver a series of engaging and interactive drama workshops for primary-aged pupils. Using a mix of storytelling, role play, and imaginative games, the sessions will explore important themes such as personal safety, community awareness, and making positive choices. Each workshop is designed to be welcoming and participatory, encouraging children to share ideas, express themselves, and develop practical skills in a supportive setting.

We believe drama provides a powerful and accessible way for children to explore real-life topics. By creating a space where they feel heard and empowered, this project aims to strengthen their confidence, broaden their understanding of the world, and highlight the importance of their voices. Introducing these ideas early can have a meaningful and lasting effect.

We are particularly excited to see how the children engage creatively with the sessions. Watching them grow in confidence, work together, and explore key themes through imagination is always a rewarding part of our work.

Participants will be selected and enrolled through the school.
