Search for community-led projects that are either underway or are looking to get support from people in your area.
Find out what help people are looking for and how you can get involved and contact the project owner or sponsor. Even if you can't help out yourself you can easily share the projects with people in your own network that might be able to. It's also a great way of finding out what’s going on in your area.
Pitshanger Park Spring Clean
Join Thames 21, Ealing’s Park Rangers, and with the support of the Pitshanger Community Association, for 3 days of action in cleaning up the River Brent which runs through Pitshanger Park.

Volunteer Befriender
BEfriend, formerly the Volunteer Link Scheme, was established in 1994. We provide one-to-one volunteer befriending to people within the London Borough of Ealing who are housebound and socially isolated as a result of disability or long term illness.

We want to create a community green space in alleyways between Rugby Road, St Georges rd and Hatfield Road.

Don’t Waste Organics – Compost
This project is to rebuild the compost area in the community garden in Westcott Park estate. This would be a good opportunity to introduce the local community to an environmentally friendly way of reducing their personal organic waste, via home composting.
