Imagine a young person with incredible potential, but no one to help them see it.

At MCR Pathways, we believe in the power of a single spark of connection to ignite potential and change lives. We are a national charity, passionate about ensuring every young person has someone to help them find their way to a brighter future, whenever and wherever they need us.

We are looking for volunteer mentors to join our award-winning programme and make a profound difference. By dedicating just one hour a week, you become a trusted adult mentor who walks beside a young person, helping to spark their confidence, fuel their ambition, and awaken their potential.

Every connection formed tells a unique story. Through consistency, trust, and a shared passion (whether it’s football, chess, or just a listening ear), you help a young person overcome barriers, build lasting strength, and plan their next move. It’s the all-important voltage behind truly changing lives.

As a Volunteer Mentor, you will:

• Meet face to face with a young person, one hour per week during school hours, and for at least a year.
• Offer guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear to help them build confidence and set personal goals.
• Support the development of skills for education, work, and life.
• Be a consistent, positive role model, helping them overcome barriers and broaden their horizons.
