Ealing Transition Initiative has been active in Ealing since 2009, holding over 70 public events including films, discussions, talks and community planning events.
The aim has been to inform and enable local community members to feel empowered to take practical action in our own neighbourhoods to address climate concerns and help create the transition to a more sustainable future.
The walk will follow the story of the development of some of the current projects including energy saving, schools solar generation, food growing skills, bee keeping, air quality improvement, re-skilling and repair, nature and biodiversity restoration and wider community engagement in climate action.

Date and Time
Tour will begin at: 10.30 am on Saturday 27th September 2025 and last approximately 1.5 hours.
Location:
Starting and ending at St Mary’s Church, South Ealing.
This is a local walk on public roads – please wear suitable walking shoes.
Our hope is that you will be inspired by what our community has achieved and feel enabled to take action yourselves.
