The first Ealing Climate Week took place from 20–28 September 2025 and was a fantastic celebration of community, connection and climate action.
A huge thank you to everyone who hosted, attended or supported the more than 100 events organised during the week: together, we made something truly special. This community effort far surpassed expectations and showed the incredible appetite across the borough for ambitious action on climate.
From tree planting and cycling to energy-saving advice and school uniform swaps, the week proved that climate action and better living go hand-in-hand. Ealing is now ranked 5th in London for climate action (up from 10th in 2023), with the largest solar rollout in west London and meeting the council’s target to plant 50,000 trees by spring 2026.
And if you couldn’t get enough – Ealing Climate Week will return in 2026.
To stay involved, sign up to the newsletter made by the ActForEaling coalition of climate and nature groups to see what’s happening week by week, and share your feedback or ideas by emailing climateaction@ealing.gov.uk.
Let’s keep building a better borough, together.
