Whether you are a total beginner or returning after a long break, this course is designed to be your inner anchor: a gentle, supportive space at the South Ealing YMCA to reconnect with your body, and create steadier rhythms for the week ahead.

This course is for you if:

  • You work from home and need a clear boundary to ‘shut down’ your work brain.
  • You are recovering from fatigue and need a practice that restores rather than drains you.
  • You want a steady routine rooted in a time-tested practice.
  • You need a friendly place to land, slow down, and reconnect.

What to expect:

  • Nervous system support: Sessions focused on meditative breathing, movement and mobility to calm stress and a noisy mind.
  • Gentle guidance in an inclusive, supportive community space.
  • A special Yoga Nidra session in Week 4, for deep guided relaxation and mental clarity.
  • Intimate, friendly group: Limited to just 10 spots to ensure a low-pressure, compassionate environment.

About the Teacher:

Payal has been teaching in-person Hatha Yoga classes in London for the past 10 years. Her practice is informed by both Western training and guidance from indigenous stewards of the oral tradition. Payal focuses on creating an inclusive, supportive space for students to explore their practice, and she currently leads a friendly community of regulars at her weekly classes.

  • Course fee: £48 for all 4 weeks (£12 per session).
  • Dates: Mondays, June 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th.
  • Time: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM.

Equipment: As this is a community space, please bring your own yoga mat and any props (blocks/straps) you’d like to use. Hydration: Only water is permitted inside the studio. Parking: On-site parking is FREE. Please ensure you register your vehicle at the YMCA front desk upon arrival to avoid any charges.
