Ealing Repair Cafe Mend & Natter – Greenford Quay

To celebrate Ealing Climate Action Week. join Ealing Repair Cafe at Greenford Quay chat while clothes mending. All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance, there’s always something new to share or learn. Our volunteers will be on hand to teach you how to repair your clothes. You can pick up one of our darning and patching guides.

Ealing Repair cafe will have samples for inspiration, sewing equipment to get you started and help you breathe new life into your wardrobe. Bring along clothes that need mending for some helpful suggestions from our volunteers on how to fix your items.

We will also have our Dutchess, the singer hand-powered singer and our electric machines to do simple mends on. If the machines are in high demand, there will be a time limit to let everyone have a turn.
