Perivale’s Town Team has 7 members – a diverse mix or people all passionate about Perivale and working together to make real change.

They are:

Antoinette has lived and worked in Ealing and Perivale for nearly 30 years. She is interested in healthcare and environmental issues.

A long term resident of Perivale who cares for her community.

Jimmy has lived in Perivale for 30 years and would like to help make Perivale have a better community feel about it and for it not to be one of the forgotten areas of the borough. Now mostly retired after a long legal career in Local Government (not Ealing) he feels this experience will assist in getting answers and help in getting things done.

A resident of Perivale for 30 years

Natasha has an extensive background in education, including roles in school improvement, special education, and senior leadership, all of which demonstrates a deep commitment to community wellbeing. During her training at St Mellitus College and her curacy at St Martin’s in Gospel Oak, she led initiatives with the London Diocese’s Compassionate Communities Team, reimagining the General Synod’s approach to tackling Serious Youth Violence and developing practical missional resources to foster safer communities for all young people, including the Pieta Prayer Resource. Natasha’s passion for bringing people together is evident in her love of good food, uplifting conversation, music, and community gatherings.

Asad has lived in Perivale for over 25 years and is a local businessman who is passionate about supporting his community. He serves as a governor at a local primary school, helping to create a positive environment for young people. Asad wants Perivale to be a clean, safe, and welcoming area for everyone, especially the next generation. He believes that by working together, residents can make a lasting difference in their neighbourhood.

Perivale resident for over 25 years and a local businessman

Carolyn’s parents moved to Perivale in 1965, her mother is still living in the same house. Carolyn attended Perivale Infants and Junior schools, and Perivale Girls Secondary and Modern school until it was closed down. She also attended the brownies and guides. Carolyn is married with children, she sings in the choir, and she has three generations of family who worship at St Nicholas. Her heart has always been in Perivale.

Omar Khan, a married father, chose to move to Perivale to raise his young family, recognising the area’s excellent schools and abundant green spaces as ideal for children. He is dedicated to contributing his time and expertise to support Perivale’s continued development and believes that thriving communities are fundamental to the overall success of any town.

Moved to Perivale to bring up his young family

Cllr Mahmood has been a resident of the Ealing borough for the past 20 years. He takes great pride in serving as the Councillor for the Perivale ward for the last 10 years, during which he has participated in various council committees to ensure that the voice of Perivale residents are heard on important issues. Additionally, Cllr Mahmood has served as a local school governor for many years, working closely with parents to enhance the standard of education.
Campaigning for the community on local issues is a passion of Cllr Mahmood’s, and he is a dedicated advocate for the needs of the Perivale community. Cllr Mahmood is excited about the opportunity to join the Perivale Town Team to further support and improve Perivale’s community.
