Apply for community funding

Your Voice Your Town Perivale has £16,000 (from Ealing Council) available for community-led projects that help local people secure employment through activities which help to build skills, business connections and offer new employment pathways.

Do you have a brilliant idea to make Perivale a town where people are more confident when looking for employment, and are more familiar with what’s happening locally in Perivale. We want to hear from you.

This fund closes at 1pm, on Thursday 3 December 2026.

Have you got an idea, for helping people who live in Perivale find employment or explore careers locally?

A project that could help people build their local business network, learn more about what local employers are looking for and introduce them to new employment pathways.

Whether you’re a local organisation, business, school, community group, faith group, or just someone with a great idea — we want to hear from you.

We know that there is a range of employment support and activities that help people get, keep and progress in jobs.  But we want to tap into the talent, businesses and connections across Perivale, as we think this community has something amazing to offer.

The Your Voice Your Town Perivale Town Team is inviting applications for community-led projects that help local people secure employment through activities which help to build skills, business connections and offer new employment pathways.

What kind of projects can be funded?

We want to support 1-3 projects to test or deliver projects that help local people secure employment through activities which help to build skills, business connections and offer new employment pathways.

Ideas and approaches could include:

  • Help for people to access advice or mentoring from different people in different careers. We know that people locally have a huge range of experiences, and we know that coaching from people of different career backgrounds can be hugely powerful, especially for those who don’t have these connections.
  • Help for people to understand their career options locally and areas of interest, by connecting Perivale residents with local jobs and pathways, including meeting local employers, or people who can support a journey or building a network to successful employment Offer a number of people tailored 1-2-1 support or mentoring
  • Help for people to better understand what employers are expecting, and to implement the most current and up-to-date approaches to secure employment.
  • Help people to become more familiar with local employers, create local employment pathways, and make contact with local businesses or networks to support local people on their journey to employment.

How much funding is available?
