“I have been a resident of the London Borough of Ealing for 33 years and lived in Hanwell for over 20 years. I love the huge variety of culture, heritage and public spaces the area offers - from parks, rivers, canals to small gigs and big festivals. I have now retired from being a Deputy Head Teacher in a neighbouring borough. So I have the time and energy to be more engaged in my local community and being a Town Team member provides the ideal vehicle for this. ”

“I have lived in Hanwell for over 50 years and was educated here, which helped me navigate life. I now have more time to give back and believe everyone has a part to play. I would rather try than spend my time wondering whether I could have made a difference. I am particularly interested in how we connect different generations in Hanwell and how we build on the rich community that exists.”

“Hi, I'm Jeffrine. I'm a mum of two and have lived in Hanwell for over 14 years. I joined the Your Town Team because I'm passionate about community advocacy and inclusion, and wanted to play a more active role in helping to shape the area where I live and am raising my family. I'm looking forward to meeting and learning from other local people, sharing ideas and working together to help make Hanwell an even more inclusive, connected and welcoming place for everyone. ”

“My name is Jenny Jones and I have lived in Hanwell for 27 years. I am keen to improve the look and feel of Hanwell town with improvements to street cleaning, litter, overhanging hedges etc to make our area feel cared for. I want to be able to join in with the community and give something back, and I want to make sure there are projects that support the elderly as well as the young. Together we can make small wins and a difference for everyone in Hanwell. ”

Professionally, I have worked in marketing for nearly two decades.”
