Your Voice, Your Town is a new way of organising each of the borough’s seven towns. It brings residents, businesses, faith and community organisations, and councillors together to improve their area and make great things happen.

Introducing the Acton Town Team
Acton’s Town Team has 16 members – a diverse mix or people all passionate about Acton and working together to make real change.
How does the Acton Town Team work together
The Acton Town Team met to decide how they wanted to work together. They established a set of ways of working that shape how they work as a team.

Being a Town Team member is a voluntary role, and each member must sign up to a participation agreement.

We look forward to a vibrant town where everyone feels welcome, connected, and proud to contribute towards shaping its future. We will build on our rich history and support Acton’s diverse community to create a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive environment where local voices lead the way and make a difference.
Acton’s town priority and community fund
Through a big engagement process in 2024 and 2025, local residents, businesses, faith and community organisation shared their insights about the brilliant things already happening in Acton and their ideas to make things even better. Through this process people voted for making Acton a ‘clean and pleasant area’ the top priority. Local people also shared what ‘clean and pleasant’ meant to them.
Over the last 6 months, Acton’s Town Team, has taken the insights from this process and created a local community fund – to support great ideas big or small – to respond to this priority. The Acton Town Team wanted to define a vision for change, that captured the vibrancy and brilliance of Acton.

They want all projects funded to contribute to this vision for change.
Acton has up to £80,000 to fund great ideas.
Applications for the community fund are now open and close on Sunday 30th November 2025 at 11:59 pm.
