What is this about?

Your Voice, Your Town asks you to be involved in the decisions that are made about where you live and take the lead in making that change happen. By teaming up with your local community, you can make a difference to where you live, work or study.

Feedback from residents has helped to shape Your Voice, Your Town. People from Ealing, Acton, Greenford, Hanwell, Northolt, Perivale and Southall told us about the great things that are already happening in their community, their hopes for the future of their towns, but with a little support they can do so much more.

They also told us they need to believe they can trust the council, and the importance of bringing people together to help their towns thrive.

Town Priorities, Voted by You

At the end of 2024, you had the opportunity to participate in a vote to determine the priority for your local town, provided you live, work, or study in any of the seven towns in the Borough of Ealing. The long list of options was based on the findings from many discussions and conversations we had with individuals and groups from each town, who shared their opinions on what is important to them in their community.

This year, a total of £480,000 in council funding has been allocated across the seven towns for projects that support the priorities chosen by local people. This means the allocation of funding, resources, and local expertise will support projects and initiatives on the priority, that received the most votes in each town...

The Results

Votes have been cast, and the results are in, and each town now has one top priority that will be the focus for community-led projects, and these priorities are set out here.

Work has already begun to discover what these priorities mean to residents, and the type of projects they believe can support their collective aspirations for the future.

Be part of the Town Team driving change

Are you over-18 and available to join a friendly group of people, that meet up regularly to help guide the activities and decisions on how local resources and budgets can support you town’s chosen priorities?

Each community needs people that can offer something special and can work as a team to make that change. You will partner up with local councillors, voluntary and faith organisations, and council officers, to exchange ideas and develop solutions to address the priorities chosen by your town’s community.

If you have the time and you see yourself as someone who is good at solving problems, have ideas about how to improve your local area, appreciate the views of others and can listen with empathy then your local Town Team needs your support.

Alternatively, if you want to be kept up to date on what is happening locally in your town, such as future town events, projects and activities which you might want to know more about and get involved in, then you have the option to keep in touch.
