Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteering is at the heart of our communities. It is an excellent way to meet new people, gain the skills and experience needed to advance your career, improve your well-being, and connect with people in your neighbourhood
Springfield Bowls and Social Club
We are trying to promote community engagement in the club and increase our membership. So assistance with fundraising and marketing would be most welcome.
And as the club is run entirely by volunteers, support is always welcome for gardening and other projects around the club.
Open a book, open a world!
When matched with a school and once DBS and safeguarding processes have been carried out, volunteers will meet with a teacher to discuss in more detail the role and how reading sessions will be organised. Reading sessions are usually carried out on 1:1 basis in a quiet area outside the classroom.
