About us

What is Do Something Good?

Do Something Good is a platform covering Acton, Ealing, Greenford, Hanwell, Northolt, Perivale and Southall to help you make a difference in your local neighbourhood. Big projects or small helping hands, something useful, maybe something fun – it’s simply about doing something good.

We believe that communities have the potential to do great things for themselves. This website is a tool for providing you with help and advice, linking you to projects and connecting you up with other people. It gives you access to practical resources, funding opportunities, handy tips on how to get started and lots of ways to get involved.

How does it work?

Once you have registered with Do Something Good you can upload your own ideas for things you would like to see happen in your area and tell people about your projects to get others to support them too.

You can search for projects and other things happening in your local area and see how you can get involved.

Who is Do Something Good aimed at?

Do Something Good is for everyone – individuals, groups and organisations working in the community and local businesses. In fact, Do Something Good doesn’t work without you. Your ideas and commitment to helping out whether it’s regularly or just once are what will help build  better communities.

We’re here to help
