Southall Clean Route- Together we clean, care for, and connect our community-Your Voice Your Town.

Ongoing Project

Pedalling Towards Change: Let’s Ride Southall (LRS) – Southall’s Next Community Movement

If you’ve spent time in Southall recently, you’ve probably noticed a new energy on our streets. Through Let’s Ride Southall (LRS), cycling has become more than just a way to travel—it has become a movement that promotes healthier lifestyles, stronger communities, and improved mental wellbeing.

We have seen grandparents regain confidence, children learn new skills, and neighbours connect through cycling. Now, we are building on that success with our Southall Clean Routes Project, proudly supported by Your Voice Your Town.

Creating Cleaner, Safer Routes

We believe everyone deserves safe, clean, and welcoming cycling and walking routes. Unfortunately, litter and fly-tipping make many of our streets less enjoyable and create hazards for cyclists and pedestrians.

Our aim is to transform these routes into cleaner, greener spaces by working together with residents, businesses, schools, and community organisations.

Working with Residents

We will:

  • Organise community clean-up events.
  • Share maps of clean cycling and walking routes.
  • Encourage residents to care for their local neighbourhoods.

Working with Businesses

We will partner with local businesses to:

  • Promote cleaner shopfronts and surrounding areas.
  • Encourage responsible waste management.
  • Help create a more attractive town centre.

Tackling Fly-Tipping

Fly-tipping affects everyone. Through this project, we will raise awareness about responsible waste disposal, encourage reporting of illegal dumping, and help residents understand the impact and consequences of fly-tipping. Introduce Love Clean Street app to residents.

Every small action contributes to a cleaner and safer Southall.

How you can help

A Community Movement The Southall Clean Routes Project is about more than removing litter—it’s about bringing people together and creating pride in our community. As we often say: “We didn’t just teach people how to ride—we taught people how to ride together. Now we’re using that same community spirit to care for the town we all love.” Get Involved Whether you’re a cyclist, walker, resident, student, business owner, or volunteer, there’s a place for you. You can: Join community rides and clean-up events. Volunteer your time. Support awareness campaigns. Encourage others to take part. Together, we can make Southall cleaner, greener, healthier, and safer—one ride at a time. Project Summary Who?
