Hanwell Carnival 2026

Ongoing Project

Hanwell Carnival is back for 2026

Hanwell Carnival is back and will return to Elthorne Park, Boston Road, Hanwell, London, W7 2AD on Saturday 20 June 2026, bringing back one of London’s longest-running free community celebrations after a one-year hiatus. First held in 1898, Hanwell Carnival continues its proud tradition of bringing the local community together for a joyful, inclusive and volunteer-led day of music, culture, creativity and family fun.

Free to attend and created by the community for the community, Hanwell Carnival welcomes more than 25,000 residents and visitors to celebrate the diversity, talent and intergenerational spirit of Hanwell and the wider Ealing borough.

This year’s event will feature two stages. The Community Stage, curated by Westside Radio, will showcase local talent from across the borough and beyond, including Ealing Street Dance Academy, Ealing Rock Academy, Pauline Quirke Academy, Zumba Zum and Jam Sessions live, featuring: Terri Walker, Sonna Rele, MC Fizzy & Friends and Siobhan Elouise. The main Music Stage will feature live performances from The Hanwell Ukulele Group, The Grim Face Marys, Those Dirty McGuffins, The Thrillers, Power Jam and Primary Scream.

Families can also enjoy a wide range of attractions throughout the day, including the much-loved Animal Zone with petting zoo and donkey rides, a Dog Show by Dogworthy, arts and crafts activities, local food traders and a funfair. There will also be a designated children’s area with entertainers. Food zone and the licensed bar will be operated by local businesses, helping to champion local enterprise alongside the borough’s rich mix of cultures and cuisines.

We will also continue longstanding support for local charities and community groups, with dozens of charities and local organisations expected to take part. For many, the Carnival is their single biggest fundraising day of the year.

With a history stretching back more than 125 years, Hanwell Carnival remains a vital space for community celebration, cultural exchange and local pride. The 2026 event marks not only a welcome return, but a renewed commitment to keeping Hanwell Carnival free, accessible and community-led for generations to come.
