Reducing Isolation in Northolt with People ConneX | Your Voice, Your Town

Ongoing Project

Community connection with People ConneX in Northolt – our project provides you with activities and volunteering opportunities.

We’re People ConneX. We’re on a mission to make Northolt feel more connected, confident and joyful.

We’ve already been out and about in Northolt, walking the streets, popping into parks, chatting with residents, and meeting brilliant local organisations. We’ve been asking you about the community activities that you’d like to be part of. You may have spotted us … and if you’re not sure, check out our short video!

How we connect

People ConneX has years of experience creating spaces and connections to help people to feel less isolated. Loneliness doesn’t stand a chance when people come together – and this is what we are good at as part of Community ConneX, a people-first charity rooted in North West London.

In Northolt, we’ll open welcoming and inclusive spaces where anyone who cares about community can get involved. It’s all about your needs and your interests. Cosy coffee mornings, sociable lunches, creative sessions to get your imagination moving, and gentle walks that help strengthen your wellbeing – these are just some of the suggestions we’ve had from your neighbours.

Why connect?

Because life can be tough sometimes. We know how it feels to be lonely and isolated, but our years of working with communities have shown us that when people come together, even for a coffee, chat, a little laugh or shared activity, they are happier and healthier.

And honestly, wow! We’ve been blown away by the openness, warmth and kindness of everyone we’ve met. Beneath the everyday rhythm of streets, shops, parks and homes, there’s a whole world of quiet, powerful community work happening. It’s led by generous, caring Northolt people who look out for one another. It’s been inspiring to witness, and we’re proud to take it forward.

We want YOU to be part of People ConneX!
