What is the Green Doctor programme? Groundwork’s Green Doctors help UK residents stay warm, stay well, and save money on household bills. In partnership with London Boroughs and Housing Associations, we visit residents across London to install free energy-saving measures, give advice on bills and provide referrals to further services to improve the health and well-being of Londoners.

 

What can we do for you?

• Advice on reducing energy use at home, including energy saving tips and how to use heating and hot water controls to save money
• Advice and support on suppliers or tariffs, including explaining statements, energy caps, standing charges and unit rates
• Supporting with accessing the water discounts or Priority Services Register
• Support with applications for energy or water debt relief
• Advice and support to help apply for the installation of larger efficiency measures, such as insulation and boiler upgrades
• Referring you to other support organisations within your community
• Installing efficiency measures, such as LED lightbulbs and draught proofing
