Join Ealing Repair Cafe at Ealing Picturehouse in Filmworks, Ealing Broadway with your clothes mending pile. They will in the upstairs in the cafe & bar area with their sewing equipment. Come along for chatting, fixing and learning how to mend our clothes.
All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance sewers, there’s always something new to share or learn. We will have patching and darning guides, sewing equipment, mending books and samples to inspire you. We also will have our sewing machines, our singer hand powered Duchess machine and our electric machine.
Bring along 1 or 2 items of clothes that need mending for some helpful suggestions from our volunteers on how to fix your items. Our volunteers will be there to teach you how to mend. Or just come along for company while you mend your clothes.

We ask for a small donation, £4 for the session to cover costs of equipment and expenses.
